This policy explains how RealAIzation (Realaization Inc., “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this website. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to you, and we design our client engagements around GDPR requirements.
Cookies & local storage
We use only strictly necessary browser storage. Specifically:
- Theme preference — remembers the site’s display setting.
- Cookie notice acknowledgement — remembers that you’ve seen this notice so we don’t show it again.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles. Because this storage is essential to the site’s operation, it does not require consent — this notice is provided for transparency. If we introduce analytics in future, we will ask for your opt-in consent first.
Information you provide
If you use our contact form, we collect the email address and message you submit so we can respond to your enquiry. We use this information only to reply to you and for related business follow-up, and we retain it only as long as needed for those purposes.
Job applicants
This section applies when you apply for a role through our careers pages. It sits alongside the rest of this policy; the sections on service providers, your rights and contact details apply to applicants too.
What we collect
The details you enter in the application form (name, email address, and optionally a phone number and LinkedIn profile), your answers to the screening questions for the role, and the CV you upload. We do not ask for, and ask you not to include, information we do not need to assess your application, such as a photograph, date of birth or identification numbers.
Why we use it
To assess your application for the role you applied for, to contact you about it, and, if you ask us to or we think a later role may suit you, to consider you for similar roles. We process this information to take steps at your request before entering into an employment or contractor agreement, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in recruiting for our team.
AI-assisted review
We may use AI-assisted tools to help our team organise and review applications. They support the people who make hiring decisions; they do not make those decisions. Our approach to AI is described on our AI Safety & Governance page.
Who can see it and where it is kept
Only the people involved in hiring at RealAIzation can view applications. Applications are stored in our database and CVs in a private file store that is not publicly accessible; both are hosted by the providers listed below. Your information is not shared with anyone else, and it is never sold.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for up to 12 months after the role closes so that we can consider you for similar roles, after which they are deleted. If you would like your application removed sooner, or want to see or correct what we hold, email us at hello@realaization.com and we will act on it promptly. Your other rights are described under Your rights below.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under their own privacy terms:
- Vercel — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (e.g. IP address, request metadata) for security and reliability.
- Vercel Blob — stores applicant CVs in a private file store that is not publicly accessible (United States).
- Neon — hosts the database that stores job postings and job applications (United States).
- Sanity — manages the site’s editorial content (blog and case studies).
- Formspree — delivers contact-form submissions to us.
Some of these providers operate in the United States, so your information may be processed outside your country. We only use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@realaization.com.
